The Italian dream in Hove
Franco moved to the U.K. about 23 years ago, initially working in London before moving to Brighton with the idea of following his dream; to open a venue where he could bring a piece of Italy to the U.K. It started with a small pasta and pizza restaurant that quickly became an osteria recognised for the quality of its products. From handmade pasta to delicious focaccia, all the ingredients are carefully chosen and transformed into incredible dishes.
The Osteria Concept
Franco has been developing this concept over the past few years in order to bring a mixture of flavours and tastes from the table of Italy, particularly the puglia region, to Hove.
How does the Osteria work?
A fixed price for the meal is paid by the customer to include a selection of various plates to be shared amongst the table such as, Italian antipasti –
composed of meats, fish, cheeses and seasonal
vegetables followed by pasta dishes.
Vegan and vegetarian options available.
The daily menu is based on fresh seasonal produce delivered to us every week from Italy and the UK. Everything is made on site from bread to fresh pasta, sauces and dessert.
Pizza’s are avaible for Takeaway all week or to eat in from Monday – Thursday.
Dining in from Friday to Sunday solely focuses on the Osteria concept.
